Our professional team provides services for children, teens, and adults across the lifespan. We are a trauma-focused, client-centred practice that values equity, diversity and inclusive care for all population groups. Dr. Patricia Miller, RCSW, PhD (Behavioural and Social Sciences), Psy.D (clinical psychology), MSW, M.A clinical psychology,
Registered Psychologist, Certified Mediator/Negotiator and Addictions Specialist
Patricia Miller brings a wealth of experience to The Calgary Therapy Institute. She has completed a master’s degree in Social Work, a Master of Counselling Psychology, successfully defended her PhD. in Behavioural and Social Sciences in 2018 from Tilburg University in the Netherlands and is currently working towards finishing a clinical psychology degree (Psy. D), through Calsouthern University.

Dr. Trista Keating is a specialist in the assessment of toddler, child, and youth Autism Spectrum Disorder (including its different presentation in girls), learning disorders, ADHD, anxiety/depression, and a wide variety of other conditions. Dr. Trista received her undergraduate degree in psychology from McGill University and completed her Ph.D. in School Psychology at the University of Alberta.

Marie Sutherby, M.Ed
Marie has been fortunate to work and train in public and rural schools and a not-for-profit agency providing assessment, consultation, and intervention services. Marie approaches her work utilizing a collaborative and strength-based perspective in order to help children, adolescents, and their families understand and overcome challenges.

Raelene Tulick, M.A.
Raelene holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology. In addition, she spent 8 years as a performance coach in large corporations throughout Canada and the US. She enjoys working with individuals, families, and groups with an emphasis on improving quality of life and creating new possibilities for being and acting.

Tanya has a love of learning and is currently working on a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Her educational background is diverse, including study in
the fields of mathematics, education, and counselling. Tanya’s passion is to help
others gain healing and learn strategies to succeed in their lives.

Paul Lapointe,
MSW
Paul has a range of experience working in emergency services as a paramedic for 10 years, in education as a teacher for 7 years and now as a mental health therapist for nearly 10 years. This varied experience has allowed Paul to develop expertise in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic pain among other mental health areas of concern.

Sara is a Registered Provisional Psychologist and a certified music therapist. She is also a Canadian certified counselor and a Registered Clinical Counselor in British Columbia. She has over 10 years of experience in the mental health field in various roles in Canada and abroad.

Jenna is a Registered Clinical Social Worker who has extensive experience treating eating disorders, binge-eating, trauma, depression and anxiety. Jenna carries her Level II CBT Accreditation and is a designated Clinical Traumatologist.

Chang completed her doctoral coursework in the CPA-accredited clinical psychology program at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver (BC), as well as an APA-accredited pre-doctoral clinical psychology internship at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago (IL).
Natalie Alana Marshall has completed a master’s degree in social work and is working towards finishing a doctorate of education (Ed.D) specializing in leadership. Natalie is passionate about mental health, leadership and professional development.

Paul is a Certified Child and Youth Care Counsellor with a 20-year career in the performing arts. He holds a BA in Psychology and Philosophy and a BFA in Acting, and he is currently completing the practicum component for his Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Paul also works as an educator, coach, 2SLGBTQ+ activist, and certified Embodied Awareness Facilitator.

Katie has worked on the front line with children, youth and families for the past six years, creating a space for all family members to be heard and feel supported. Katie works from a strengths-based approach, where she focuses on building upon clients’ strengths and works collaboratively with clients to move them forward.

Vincenzo Sabella holds a Masters with honours in Applied Clinical and Health Psychology and Bachelors Degree in Sciences and Psychological Techniques from the University of L'Aquila in Italy. He spent two years of post-university studies in Rome at the Italian Institute of Scientific Sexology
