My Story

Marie is a dually licensed Registered Psychologist in Alberta and British Columbia who specializes in providing comprehensive psychoeducational, neurodevelopmental, and capacity assessments. Her practice is dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based evaluations for children, teens, adults, and families, both in-person and virtually across both provinces. Grounded in building strong therapeutic connections, Marie fosters a warm, safe, and collaborative environment. She utilizes a strength-based, evidence-informed perspective to highlight each individual's unique abilities while addressing areas of challenge, helping clients and families understand and overcome complex difficulties.

With extensive experience spanning public and rural schools, early intervention preschools, school divisions, not-for-profit agencies, and private practice, Marie has honed her skills working with diverse populations. She provides specialized formal assessments tailored to clarify diagnoses, guide treatment, support academic or workplace accommodations, and empower clients with practical recommendations. Her assessment services include psychoeducational evaluations for learning disabilities and giftedness, neurodevelopmental assessments for ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, and comprehensive capacity assessments for adults. Additionally, she conducts social-emotional evaluations to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, or trauma.

Her clinical foundation is supported by a Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount Royal University. Registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists since 2019, Marie has also completed advanced post-graduate training in child development, play-based therapies, literacy development, and gold-standard autism diagnostics, including the ADOS-2 and ADI-R.

On a personal note, Marie resides in Calgary with her husband, children, and guinea pig. She enjoys traveling to warm destinations, spending summer days in her garden, and exploring nature. She is also an avid baker and lover of good coffee and chocolate.
