Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and innovative Registered Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with diverse populations, offering meaningful support to individuals navigating significant life challenges. This role encompasses providing individual and group therapy, conducting assessments, and crafting personalized treatment plans.

In addition, we are looking for a professional who has a passion for mentorship and is interested in supervising students, interns, provisional psychologists, and early-career professionals. If you thrive in leadership roles and enjoy imparting knowledge while fostering professional growth, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  1.  Psychological Services

    • Deliver evidence-based therapy services to individuals and groups using innovative and engaging techniques.

    • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and prepare detailed reports.

    • Develop tailored treatment plans to address clients’ unique needs and goals.

  2. Supervision and Leadership

    • Provide mentorship and supervision to psychology students, interns, provisionals, and early-career psychologists, guiding their development and ensuring best practices.

    • Offer constructive feedback, foster skill-building, and support professional growth within the team.

  3. Collaboration

    • ​​Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.

    • Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and treatment planning sessions.

  4. Documentation and Compliance

    • Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely records in compliance with professional and legal standards.

    • Adhere to ethical guidelines and institutional policies to uphold professional integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA).

  • Registered with CAP to practice legally as a Registered Psychologist.

  • Ability to supervise and mentor emerging professionals, fostering their development.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.

  • A positive attitude and commitment to promoting mental health and well-being.
