Remembrance Day

ree

From the desk of Dr. Miller

Today- I am writing to acknowledge those who have and do serve this country. Tomorrow is Remembrance Day- and today, I write to share my thoughts on the burden of this work, I have done on behalf of those who have served, and those who love those, who have and/or are serving.

We must never forget this beautiful country- which has been protected by military personnel, who serve and have served. Many hours of my clinical practice have been developed in relation to supporting those who carry the psychological burden and weight of that service. Today, I write to honour those stories, and recognize your bravery, and suffering. My mind has travelled through many operations, wars, loses and victories. Know the honour is mine to be in the privilege of your work, and to be walking on the land of this country- with safety, and the freedom we have.

Thank-you for your service, the dedication and the burden you carry. You are not alone- and tomorrow is a day we nationally recognize the weight of the work done, while knowing the work is never done- as we fight for our beautiful country, called Canada.
