Karen Mizeri, M.C., R. Psych

Karen is a Registered Psychologist who helps people navigate trauma, burnout, and major life transitions with honesty, compassion, and practicality. Her approach is grounded in real conversations and evidence-based care - therapy that meets you where you are, without pretense or judgment.

She has a strong background in supporting individuals dealing with brain injury, PTSD, chronic pain, and the emotional strain of stress and change. Karen also brings a wealth of experience from her work mentoring clinicians and developing national mental health programs, giving her a deep understanding of how people grow and heal in complex systems.

In her sessions, Karen focuses on helping clients rebuild a sense of control, confidence, and connection. She believes progress isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, doing the work, and finding meaning in the process.

Outside the office, Karen is a proud crazy cat lady, creative writer, and avid reader. She believes curiosity, imagination, and a touch of humor belong just as much in therapy as they do in everyday life.
