Ka Wing works with adolescents, teens, adults, and couples. She believes in the importance of working collaboratively with clients to tailor sessions to their needs and strengths and support their insight, coping, and long-term change. Ka Wing approaches her work with a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens. She integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based techniques in her therapeutic approach.

 

Ka Wing has provided support for individuals navigating burnout, stress management, grief, anxiety, ADHD, phobias, depression, trauma, chronic pain, relationships, communication, and anger. In her previous work, she developed experience in working with domestic violence and providing care for people with borderline personality disorder.

 

During her free time, Ka Wing enjoys drawing, hiking in the mountains, and bouldering.
