Women’s Leadership Workshop: The Role of Self-Determining Herstory

Two-day workshop, focused on Women’s Wellness, Self-determination and Psychological Healing

Workshop Content:

​

  1. Understanding how intentions shape our lives, and how our family of origin relationships influence how we craft out our career and life goals.

  2. We will ponder what we learned in our family of origins about being girls, and how we approach our lives as women.

  3. Looking at attachment theory and its role in our relationship development.

  4. Starting to rewrite our stories; what role(s) do we want to take on in our lives-free from guilt and shame- self-determining our right to write our stories.

  5. The importance of rituals in healing ourselves.

  6. Exploring the role of journalling, art, music, vision boards and other modalities of expression to unlock the inner you.

  7. The psychological understandings which can support women’s wellness.

  8. Writing your commitment story- the role of self-determining a new you- with others who support the re-writing of your story.

  • July 19th and 20th, 2025

  • 9am - 4pm

Cost:

  • $600 ($250 deposit required for registration commitment)

​This women’s wellness workshop will be held at the Calgary Therapy Institute and will engage the Lake Bonavista Park for additional morning walks, breaks and journaling (weather dependent).
