Details
The Canadian Mental Health Association identifies mental health challenges often emerge during adolescence. Teens are expected to understand who they are and how they relate to others, while facing social pressures, physical and emotional changes, and balancing work and/or school stress.
This group was created from the rise in youth seeking mental health support while navigating the above difficulties. We also recognize shared experience as a powerful tool for validating feelings, normalizing experiences, learning from others, and challenging stigma.
